Chroma Blitz · last updated October 7, 2026
The short version: Chroma Blitz™ has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email, age or location. There are no tracking and no cookies. The game keeps your progress online under a random ID so it isn't lost, and you can delete all of it at any time.
What the game keeps
- A random player ID and device key. The first time the game goes online it makes up a random ID for you. Your device holds a secret key; the server only stores a scrambled (hashed) copy of it.
- Your save. Unlocks, upgrades, shards, best times and settings for the game, so you can pick up where you left off or move to another device with a transfer code.
- Your player name. A made-up name like RainbowOtter#23, picked from the game's own word lists. You can't type your own name, so a real name can't end up on a leaderboard.
- Leaderboard scores. Your best times, kills and level. You can hide yourself from the boards in Settings.
- Private group membership, if you join one with a group code.
- Anonymous game stats, such as how long runs last, which weapons were used and what ended a run. They help us balance the game. They're tied only to the random ID, are deleted after 90 days, and can be turned off in Settings → Share anonymous game stats.
What the game doesn't keep
- No names, emails, phone numbers, photos, contacts or location.
- No advertising IDs and no trackers that follow you around the web.
- No IP addresses. To stop abuse (like someone guessing codes) the server counts requests per network using a scrambled, daily-changing version of the address that can't be turned back into it. Those counts are removed within two days.
Children
Chroma Blitz is made for players 13 and up. The game never asks for or stores personal information, so it doesn't collect any from anyone, children included. Names are generated, there's no chat, and players can't send each other anything.
Deleting your data
In the game, open Settings → Delete my online data. That removes your save, scores, stats, name and devices from the server for good. The copy of your progress on your own device stays until you clear it (for example by clearing the site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the Android app).
Don't have the game any more? Email [email protected] with your player name (like RainbowOtter#23, shown on the title screen and leaderboards). We'll delete everything tied to it within 30 days and write back when it's done. Because there are no accounts with emails or passwords, the player name is how we find your data.
Website visit counts
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: how many people open the page, which sites sent them, the type of device and browser, the country, and how fast the page loads. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't track you across other sites. We only see totals, never individual visitors. The Android app doesn't use it.
Who runs the servers
The game and its data are hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the network traffic and may keep short-lived technical logs of its own.
